Lifeboats on the Royal Pageant
« on: June 03, 2012, 06:50:58 pm »

It was a pity there was not more emphasis on the RNLI during the Royal Pageant today.OK I realise there were a thousand ships taking part, but some of them had long lingering shots and appeared time after time, while the Vintage Lifeboats hardly received a mention, nor indeed did the new Tamar,"The Diamond Jubilee".Unless of course I missed the coverage when I swapped over from the very poor BBC coverage,to that on Sky News, which concentrated more on the ships rather than the presenters.
Still, it was something only our great Country could do,and something that will be long remembered, and I am NOT a royalist!
