I agree, Its clever however theres no need to keep a fish on the line for that long..

I got no pleasure out of watching that.  Its just a killing machine that extends the suffering of the fish.  To link it with our hobby is distasteful.  What kind of mind makes that sort of device?  I always thought that the "pleasure" of fishing was waiting with the line out.

you are right Roy in all repects, and I had posted before finishing watching how long the poor fish had been left...........a fine bit of kit, but should have been used for croc or alligator fishing..........would show who was boss then.........

Ingenious bit of kit and well designed apart from the suffering of the fish for being on the line for so long and a slow boat !
What happended to the sport of fishing and sitting there holding the rod in anticipation of the bite ??
