Hello.

My name is nige and I model almost exclusively  modern warships from GRP Hulls and scratch built fittings although I am just taking on my first WW2 build of Gneisenau.

Currently have just finished a 12 year build of RFA Sir Bedivere from original shipyard plans and over 1000 photos taken on board. All Scratch built

Finished a 1/200 scale Trumpeter Arizona (Kit)

Currently building 1/72 fleetscale type 23 HMS Westminster. (Fleetscale hull with scratch fittings)

Currently building 1/128 Fleetsclae Gneisenau but modified with 15" turrents and lengthened and re shaped bow. (Fleetscale modified hull and quaycraft fittings)

In the planning stage is a 1/72 Fort Rosalie class RFA. (All scratch built)

In their boxes for future builds Italeri PT Boat, S Boat and Vosper 72.6 MTB (Plastic Magic)

Lots to do and a SWMBO who want the whole house re decorated this year !!!!

Hi Nige1958,

Welcome to Mayhem.  We look forward to your pictures of Warships and builds as there is large selection on them in their own thread. You have been a busy modeller  :}  so perhaps you might be able to help some of the members as well.

   Regards
