Either build a model Fire Tender and use the monitors to spray detergent or couple the engine exhaust to an oil separator.

No Rob, do all you can to try to solve the problem. Ignoring it tends to really p*** off the "Authorities" who may be controlling your "Ocean"  O0

Hi, Try vegetable oil, it is biodegradable or get Castrol "R". I would not worry too much when you see all the C**p that comes off swans, it is a dirty scum together with feathers. Also see the mess when pigeons take a bath. Nemesis

Differance is, those in charge have problems prosecuting nature but you could be in front of the beak. Go back in Mayhem's archives re the restriction of fire powered boats on one boating pond.

Have you an oiler on your propshaft that is seeping lubricant into the water.
Alittle oil goes a long way on calm waters.
That is assuming your separator is oil tght and doing it's job.
Just a thought

If you're losing oil through the shaft, then use grease :-))

Hello

There may be a possibility that you are over oiling and excess oil is exhausting. It takes very little to make a pretty picture :-)

I manufactured steam oils for a living and a huge amount of problems were caused by over oiling. It's a thin line between not enough and too much..be patient.

I'm also assuming that you are using the correct steam cylinder oil, this is important. Never be tempted to use anything else. You will endless problems.

If you have a lubrication issue, feel free to contact me

Best regards
Richard
