uknown hull what to do with it ?

hi peeps ive aquired this hull from a frend its a slight miss mold and needs some filling done to the gell coat ime wanting to buld somthing for my lad he's 5 he has a speed boat but needs constant supervision with it as it way to fast for him on his own so my intestion is to make somthing nice and sedate he cant smash into the walled boating lake we sail on

eny idea what type of hull or boat it could be terned into ?  :-)) its 35in long  5in from deck to bottom of the v at the stern  and the side is 3in

Hi James, you could make a P.T.boat, Pilot boat, R.A.F. tender on that hull.
Just an idea.
I made a Springer Tug,(the plans are on this forum ). My 4 year old grandson loves sailing her
she has a rubber buffer all around and takes any type of abuse my angel  %) of a grandson can throw at it.
It is a very easy boat to make and costs very little in material.
Check the postings on springer tugs, they are a fun boat .

spot on length for one of these chaps................. the ST 200 class of Sea Plane tender.

James,
I have to agree with Neil, would make a great Sea Plane Tender of some kind, the hull is similar shape and size to the one I have pictured here, its not too fast but has enough power to make it fun to sail  :-))

cheers for the advice so far peeps much apreciated i did buld him a sprnger but he thinks its a babys boat naw and wuld like somthing bigger like the other models dawn the lake the ambulance boat looks good what scale would i be looking at for figures ext did you buld it from a plan   :-))

hi It was built to 1:12 scale 35.5" long...........and built from My Hobby Store plans.

Why not get the lad to do some drawings of what he wants it to look like, if you draw a side sketch of the hull first, he can then add the superstructure, he will then feel involved.

ive shown him some photo' of ome of the boats sugested and he's defanetly liking the ambulance sea tender he' prety hands on when bulding he kut all the parts out for his springer when we bult it with me guding it ofcours you should se is tool box he's got better gear then me lol
