PLASTIC MODELS
« on: January 16, 2013, 01:45:36 am »

I am just wondering if anyone has ever done a Revell HMS Bounty or a plastic model of any kind.

I did the airfix HMS Victory years ago when I was a kid, and my stepson has the revell vasa, looks a nice kit if you take your time

Hi,
When you say plastic model of any kind, I built a 1960's cargo ship - the Trinidad by Imex.

I'm finishing off Revell's HMS Tiger at 1/700 scale and I have Trumpeter's HMS Dreadnought at 1/350 to start.
I've completed the following, photos of which are on this site if you search by ship name:
Revell's Type 206A submarine
Trumpeters HMS Zulu and Eskimo Tribal class destroyers
Airfix HMS Victorious
Airfix HMS Devonshire
Revell type VIIC U boat
Revell Titanic 1/1200 scale
All of which I made into waterline models and put on a seascape, all these have pictures on this site.
Yet to be posted is Airfix's HMS Suffolk at 1/600 scale.

I was wondering if I should go for the smaller 15" bounty or a fernando gloria of the same size or get the revell 1/96 constitution.

Only you can really answer that question...

Which one do you like?
Which one do you have room for?
