Kits in 1/10 scale?
« on: July 22, 2012, 06:01:14 pm »

Hello.

Does anyone know of any kits in 1/10 scale? So far I know about the Graupner B-24 (and its numerous knock-offs) and the Deans Marine Lady Beale. Are there any others out there?

Thanks!

Hi... why does it have to be 1/10th? There are a lot of 1/12th scale models but not many 1:10

I am looking for a model in 1/10th scale because I want to tow it on a trailer behind one of my 1/10th scale RC model cars, and I don't want it to look out of proportion.

Also, my first and so far only boat (a Graupner B-24 knockoff) is also 1/10th scale, and I like the idea of all my models looking the right size relative to each other.

I have had a look at the Miss Canada, and while it does look like rather an interesting model, I fear it may be a bit advanced for my current skill level. I was hoping to find something with a fiberglass or Plura hull and deck, perhaps protraying a small leisure craft of some sort.

At one point I was considering a Robbe Katja, but I fear this may be closer to 1/12 scale.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!
