I've just popped round to my local model shop - Galaxy Models in Ipswich - for materials needed in a future project, only to find they closed down on July 28th. I know they seemed to have less stock than normal on my last visit at the beginning of that month, but it is a sad loss after 37 years. My nearest shop is now Bury St Edmunds but I rarely go there, so it looks like another convert to mail order.

That one in Norwich was taken over many years ago, funny but sad was in Ipswich a few weeks ago and bought some new radio gear, nothing was said though, and was Gary who served me too,

Such a shame, one of my favorite model shops has gone.
When I was holiday in Suffolk it was often one of the first stops to visit and spend some of my holiday money! I was going to visit there next year when I get back from the Falklands but now it looks like I will have to scratch that stop off my list
