If you PM me with an email address I can send a copy of the T4U manual to you. It's a pdf and Mayhem does not let us exchange pdfs....

Might help...

I have downloaded manual from site suggested, but range checking is not mentioned at all which seems to be odd.

As an aside I normally use "Firefox" browser and all you get from the file is a load of gobbledegoog in an HTM format file.
When I tried with Internet explorer it gave me the PDF version.

Many thanks for your help.

Attach a white piece of card / paper to the rudder with a paper clip and walk away backwards!   :-))

Aha - just like a Rolls Royce, the range is specified as 'Adequate for all circumstances'!!   {-) {-)

I use Opera and had no problems. If anyone has any problems, PM me with an email and I will translate it and send a proper PDF.

Firefox (version 14.0.1) : There is some confusion over the file name extension.

Solution is to download and save to disk, then reset the extension name on
the file to '.pdf'

Good luck with the white paper. I did a range check on a T4U last year - the results are here:

http://www.modelboatmayhem.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=35862.0

You will see that it was working out to 2200ft at ground level. That's an awful long way to see a piece of paper wagging! In fact, it's a long way to go and leave a piece of equipment unattended, so I suspect that you will actually have a helper with a mobile phone...
