Something Different
« on: August 23, 2012, 11:33:57 am »

With advancing age kneeling down to launch my boats is becoming more
difficult so I came up with this . . .

A device to launch small to medium sized boats...

It folds to fit in the car a little easier.

The boat will sit on the platform.

Club 500 to give an idea of size - you could build bigger if you wish.

The boat can now be lowered into the water.

Retrieving the boat is just as easy.

I have a Coreldraw file showing the construction details which I could
convert to a Jpeg and Post if anybody's  wants to build their own version.

Brilliant!

A central "V" and / or some rubber strips would help protect the  hull.   :-))

Yes - this design is just a first attempt - another possibility
is to remove the central bar to allow launching of Yachts....
