FLEETWOOD LIFEBOAT DAY, 2014
« on: June 28, 2014, 02:25:03 pm »

Just spent a couple of hours down at Fleetwood Lifeboat station and promenade for their Lifeboat Day..............quite possibly the last time that our Lifeboat day will feature our wonderful Tyne William Street.....she has been a stalwart on the Fylde coast since 1989.........she will be sorely missed by many when we get the new Shannon next year....

wish I had the money to buy her and run her.

But what a great display of five lifeboats.........just great.

and on display were Morecambe's Hovercraft. Barrow in Furness Tamar, Fleetwood's Tyne, Blackpool's Atlantic and Fleetwood's D class............just beautiful.
