Prop rotation with 3 props

 basic idea with 2 props they  contra rotate  to   reduce  torque  steering  but what if there are 3 props .Am looking at a model  the guy says all props turn in same direction  is tis ok   bear in mind I'm  pretty clueless %)

I Googled a couple of pics - Titanic and a 'sub chaser'. Both appear to have the outers contra-rotating with upper blades moving outboard and centre same as starboard.

... but of course Bismarck would have been left hand drive.

 Ha! and the Titanic would have been   better off if they had been fitted  the other end


Any road thanks but dont answer my query as to   what if al turning the same direction

If all props turn the same direction, the you should have an ELCO PT BOAT...

For what it's worth....a couple of years or so ago a member of TMBC had this problem.
Being a model (rather than the real thingy) I advised him to rig the centre prop so that it just free-wheeled. He tried this and the model behaved much better. BY.

Actually it probably doesn't matter.
If the motors and ESC don't overheat, the boat should run fine.
It might turn one direction better than the other, but it is what it is.

Thanks Umi  I just wanted to know it would not be totaly useless. After all at least 2 have to go the same direction
