Hi All, I have just received an email from the organisers of the SWMEE show saying the 2013 show is cancelled due to "current economic climate" 
 The email also said they MIGHT be holding it again in 2014 but will be confirmed at a later date...


Such a shame as this is a good show at a good venue...... Oh well

Very sad to hear about another event biting the dust. These big shows must incur high costs to stage though. I can understand why the decision has been made, just wish it wasnt so. As MMB says, 'a good venue'. For the manufacturers in our RC hobby in general, this is the loss of ANOTHER shop window event, the lifeblood of the hobby in my humble opinion.
Still the economic recovery is just round the corner, pity we are stuck in the middle of Hampton Court Maze though
