Good day all. Thought I would just drop a post and see what constructive comments I get. I covered a wooden hull with fibre glass and fine, finishing matt. Left me with "dents" in the surface. After painting a couple of coats I tried the paint/talcum powder mixture trick using two consistencies in order to eliminate the dents. In one I mixed a dry-ish paste and in the other a viscous liquid consistency. The dryish paste did not adhere to the surface too well, and that is the rea {:-{son I then tried the liquid mix. The dry paste turned out the better to work with as the more liquid mixture never dried properly and came out when I tried to sand it. Perhaps I was too hasty and should have waited longer for it to dry, but I could not as I was chasing a deadline. The dryish paste definitely worked better overall. Any comments/advice?
