Availability of 40 mHz Crystals
« on: September 16, 2012, 11:40:12 am »

Hi all,
I have been trying to source some Futaba 40 mhz AM crystals in the UK, they are still available but I have the feeling that most RC manufacturers are phasing them out as a lot of shops have no, or limited stock. Are we being gently persuaded / steered towards buying 2.4 ghz gear. There must be thousands of people still using 40mhz for all types of surface vehicle, not just boats. Don't manufactures have a legal responsibility to manufacture spares even after they have ceased to make the original equipment. Just a thought.

Terry.

Thank you for the kind offer, but I have found a supplier. I think the submariners have the biggest potential problem, so let them have them.javascript:void(0);
