Reverting to Bec on planet T5

The setup at present is  T5 Rx  connected to external Batts at B and  2 Viper Marine Esc's    connected to   (1)  with both the red leads cut.
 I want to   eliminate the external Batts and run of the Bec  on the Esc  so is it just a matter of  pulling the plug on B and rejoining one of the red wires
Also would the Vipers then need recalibrating ?
