In the 'to build' file

WWI Battlecruiser 'Invincible' Class
WW1 HMS LION
post WW2 HMS TIGER
HMAS CERBERUS
HMS PENNYWORT
(actually, I have to finish the last one, started it 30 years ago and lost interest until recently, having spent the interim on model soldiers)

yes, mine are all built to 1;12 scale as well, triumphjon but as the title of the thread says "fantasy fleet"  doesn't narrow the subject down to just models, i do hope you don't mind me posting MY fantasy. thanks.

The Bugsier is complete and works well.

Father Christmas has been very kind and I have a kit for boat number 2, the Weser Fireboat. Almost didn't get it as it seems to be out of production now.

Bit worried about the Loyal Class Tender too.... But that will have to wait.

Here is my 2p worth..

My fleet would be made up from Boats I wanted as a kid, boats I have travelled on and boats I or my family have worked on and new stuff I like the look of, so.....

No 1 - Under construction at the moment...
Graupner Bugsier 3 - Always wanted this a s a kid, as I did with..

No 2 Graupner WP LÖSCHKREUZER WESER "CLASSIC LINE" - Nice Fireboat that my 2 boys will enjoy using to get Daddy nice and wet!!!!

No 3 LOYAL CLASS FLEET TENDER - Travelled on a couple of these in Portsmouth Dockyard during my time with the MOD. Will probably build A161

No 4 HMS Endurance - The Ice Patrol Ship - Old friend of mine was the chef on board.

No 5 RFA Grey Rover - Many a happy day spent of this one.

No 6 HMS Blake - My Brother-in-Law served on this ship

No 7 Dean's Marine U.S. Coast Guard Island Class 1308 Launch - Love the look of this one.

The Blake would have to be a long term project along with Grey Rover as my building skills need to be renewed and improved. I am returning to the hobby after a 30 year break and have decided to start with a Bugsier, as it is reasonably straight forward.

I will probably add to the list and I aim to make my fantasy fleet as real as I can in the coming years.

My fleet has a long way to go.
HMS SKIRMISHER 1905           rebuild almost complete, sails well.
HMS AMAZON 1906                2/3 complete, sea trials awesome.
K9 SUBMARINE 1915              will be completed, but taxing my 'black art' skills to the limit

My long term wish list includes
HMS CRESSY 1899.               four decades ago I built a Mammod steam powered one, but never completed it.
HMS AGAMEMNON 1906        last of the predreadnaughts.  Loads to detail.  Would make a nice scratch project.
HMS EREBUS 1916                relatively small ship with huge 15" turret.  Would look great on the water.
SMS SCHLESWIG HOLSTIEN 1908       German predreadnaught, as built.  Almost gothic crenulations.
HMS HANNIBAL 1896            if my modelling skills ever reach the point where I could take this on.

However, one step at a time. I am learning new techniques every week, so one day may be able to take on more ambitious builds.
Right now individual etched stanchions in 1/96 are my key challenge.   :o

Update on the progress.

Fully up and running. Getting towards a refit and upgrade.

No 2 Graupner WP LÖSCHKREUZER WESER "CLASSIC LINE" - Nice Fireboat that my 2 boys will enjoy using to get Daddy nice and wet!!!!

3/4 complete. Most of the structure build is finished. Electronics on the way. Major parts needed in a mixer and 3 ESCs. All the rest I will make my own using PICAXE chips etc. May have a shake down cruise soon.

No 8 Will be nice if I can get a Seabex One. I know it is discontinued as ar 1 or 2 of the list. But I can hope!!
