I was trying to answer a query a few minutes ago, and was checking that the link I was giving was valid (about sail fittings, looking for sailsetc) and got this -
"www.sailsetc.com has been registered by Swift Internet".  
Using the same, but .co.uk , directs to the same screen.  Has the domain name registration run out and been grabbed?

Checking "whois" - which is the way to find who owns what domain and where they're hosted - I get the following:

   Domain Name: SAILSETC.COM

...which looks like the domain is safely hosted (by swiftinternet) until May 2014. It looks like the site is off the server: there's no content.

When I'm updating sites, I switch the new index.html file in to overwrite the old one, meaning "no loss of content" during a rebuild. This clearly hasn't happened here. Is sailsetc still trading?

Same here, have been referencing sailsetc product catalogue, and compiling a shopping list for my next project. Was about to place an order.
Oooerr! I I hope they haven't become another victim of today's financial squeezes.
