Ah, the pure joy of the very first run of a new boat, after all the hours of work you put into it.   :-)) :-))

Congrats HKG.  What and where is that pond?  Nice concrete lining it appears.

New Brighton lake is in a brilliant spot on the promenade, however, it does need regular dredging with a variety of home made implements to keep it clear of blanket weed......

Is this done by Wirral County Council or do us hobbie'ers do it as means of a thankyou from time to time????......as there was a old fella there with what looked like a tv ariel on a length of rope doing a stearling job. :embarrassed:

Thats it, all hands chip in and dredge the lake when it is needed, hence the wonderful contrivances to pull all the prop jamming weed out. :-)) :-)) :-))
