RNLI College trip
« on: October 26, 2012, 05:36:23 pm »

Four of us will be setting out early Saturday morning from Stevenage MBC to do a trip round the RNLI college.  I will take a few pics on how we get on. I did the tour back in May this year and found great fun to do. :-)) Now taking some other club members to show what the RNLI get up to. :-))
More about this when I get home Sat night.

Well we set of from a very snowy Stevenage and made good speed to the RNLI collage .
We was made welcome and set of on the tour which includes a chance to drive the seven class Simulator.  A pint of Lifeboat Beer in the bar then poped into Westbourne Model then Home. A good day out :-))

Bill, glad you all enjoyed yourselfs, first of all the bridge is fasinating, the tour is something else, the wall of respect outside is an honour to all those who unfortunatly lost there lives saving other people at sea.I stayed for two nights (£82 b&b pn)all rooms are on the harbour side, and to see the different types of boats (big and small)coming throu the bridge is amazing.Anyway i glad you all had a great day and a safe trip home.Martin(baloo)
