Noted these in Aldi yesterday, understand that some use these action man types on their boats:

At 30cm high they would be 1/6th scale and a tad large methinks for most models.  <:( <:(

Yep, very big, but the right size for a project that I am thinking of.
I spent a lot more buying action figures, as they are no longer fashionable with kids and are the domain of adult collectors. Even the cheap ones in China cost me 18 quid each.

A good percentage of Lifeboat modellers use 1/16th scale,and I am sure with the use of a scalpel and milliput,they could easily be adapted to Lifeboatmen.
