it's what I chose to do for a living ..... I must have been raving mad !  {-)

You must be very good to be able to make a living from it :-))

Do you have your own Gallery? and a web site?

The wife and I  are thinking of a move down to Cornwall in the next few years possibly opening our own shop selling my art and the Driftwood items i also make which can be seen here  http://www.driftawaynaturalartsandcrafts.com/. But we need to look into a lot of things first before making the jump into the unknown..

Always known it as Sea of Ice Mike, but Wiki mentions Wreck of Hope too.

Yes Kev, that's the one .... A very political painting I've always thought.

I can assure you that there are dozens of people down here selling such products,or hoping to sell such items. As you say "think very carefully!"

Re our Casper,
this web site shows 6 seperate paintings all of the same subject, different interpetations.

http://www.caspardavidfriedrich.org/

Seems he did similar with one or two other subjects as well
Some appeal more than others.
Do like some of his paintings though
cheers

Isn't that the truth Mick, it seems to be hope of a lot to come here to the Westcountry and do that, I've seen quite a few fail at it in this village alone, Some small shops have a regular turnover of broken dreams....
