BMPRS A Class Retro F1 build
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:18:08 pm »

Building this for my son to race this yr
still abit to do but not far off now
Powered by .46 ASP should be a fun runner for him  :-))

Next job is secure the exhaust and fuel tank.plumb the fuel tank up add some vents to help with cooling etc
Then get it on the water to set the pipe length and build a guard to cover the exposed exhaust  :-))

Almost there now
everything is in and even fired it up for the 1st time aswell so my little lad is well excited and happy now

Iv started on the cowl didnt like the screen that was painted on so removed it and decided cut a screen out and will mesh then spray it black, but this way allows air in,also trimmed out the back of canopy to allow air out so good circulation of air to aid through the hull now,but need to fibreglass it now to strengthen it up as its wafer thin, then tidy up the edges to finish off
Also waiting to find info so i can order the vinyl for it and the props to arrive  :-))

Nearly done now
Pit box all complete with power panel mounted in the side, stand on top to rest and transport the boat on a long with everything inside needed to start and run it and easy to move round
boat itself almost ready just need to figure out best way to secure front of canopy and add the grab handles then its ready for the water
