small lifeboat kit
« on: January 16, 2013, 07:19:11 pm »

Hello!
Perhaps this belongs in another thread, but I thought someone here might be interested in this. I have never seen one of these before, the seller says he welcomes international bidders. http://www.tradera.com/frog-north-sea-lifeboat-1-48-rare--auktion_180906_172733607

Ok, only rare when you are the seller I guess! ;)
Looks like a nice little kit though.

they ARE  really nice Hama..nicely moulded and detailed and just enough space in them to motorise if you use the minature stuff that Ron Dean is showing in his posts at the moment.....I fancy doing that sometime with my little kit.

The original Frog ones are rarer than the Russian copies that are still available (Novo et. al).

The later ones tend not to have the crew and windscreen moulding included any more (I guess the moulds have been lost).
