It's OK but you get more for your money (my opinion) with a Southampton (Wyeforce) Tugboat as it's twin screw and can be easily converted. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=349235

It looks clean and good quality but you need to buy a battery and charger (they don't appear to come with the thing) Bit steep for an RTR and the battery is a nicad type so run time not so good. Those dangling anchors are going to snag every bit of weed around. The Thunder Tiger fishing boats are very good quality and come with a six volt battery and charger, look on the Westbourne models sight for info on them.

There was one being sailed last week at Skipsea looked and sailed well , could be made into a nice model with a bit of work

Run time should be alright as they recommend an 8.4v 2100mAh nicad battery.

I get a 4.5hour run time on a 7.2v in my covette.

yes i agree with you Martin i have a southampton rtr had a go with a convertion but could'nt get the deck off even after i had undone all the screws ,only done a rx change to 40mhz still i like it .is there a page on the convertion ?.
 yes the the anchors doo look as if they would snag Pointy but i did'nt know what battery was required ,makes a difference if the battery is included.
i have seen the thunder tiger fishing boat in Hull the other week noce and a reasonable size too thats what drew me to the tug ,its biger than the southampton.
