looking forward to your pics, I am scratchbuilding a yacht myself, was planning on using liteply but may go the balsa way too

yeah i used an mdf frame then used 3mm strip balsa for the planking. covered the whole lot in resin and filled areas with filler managed to paint it with halfords filler primer to take out any little bumps and dips the other day so almost ready for a colour coat then to build the superstructure.  :-))
