schumacher tyres

I have just purchased some very good hardly used rc10 b2/3 wheels and tyres. some of the coloured marking have gone of the tyres. Is there any way of knowing which are which eg yellow/green blue etc

I dont think there is. Depending how used they are you may get an idea by how hard the rubber feels (not very scientific I know). Blues are the hardest followed by yellows then greens. So, the very softest will be the greens. There isnt really much difference between blues (the hardest) and yellows which are between the two!
