Seabex
« on: February 09, 2013, 11:09:40 am »

Hello all...

I need to move on a few of my boats, and I'm looking for advice on pricing!

I have a seabex one, standard out of the box build, with motors, no other electronics, it has two original drive unit's and two new replacements ( originals worn )

Once I have an idea I'll post it in the sales section...before I list it on that auction site...

Cheers

You can only go for what might accept and see how the land lies.

We all want to include our labour costs, but that's life.    :}

Post up an attractive ad with pictures and see how it goes.  Let us know if your going to  "that"  site and we will remove it.

Cheers

hi Michael
I  to have a Seabex one to build one day.
Price wise it varys a lot. If you have the Kit, fittings and Drives + the drives extensions and it is in good condition not started you should get a good price for it. If it is made up all singing and dancing and done well it will pull in big bucks.
Saying all that I have seen them go for a naff all. If you are not in a rush to sell it. watch ebay and see what they are going for then set your price acordingly. If it was me selling a non started kit with fittings and drives + drive extensions I would start a £500 as they are starting to get thin on the ground.

Thanks John

She is built but rarely used, I'll maybe ask for a little less than suggested....

Sorry Ned I never realised I had to post 25 times before I can list an item for sale....so I will go straight to the auction site...apologies...

I was baby sitting the Grandchildren.  It's harder work than boat building, I can tell you.

Thanks for pointing this out for me Ned.  Keep posting, Michael,  you'll soon be up to my total.   :}

I have always fancied a unmade Seabex One kit so this subject is of interest.

Cheers
