For my purpose, I bought two tanks.
Emission power of +/- 40m, I took what I need and throwed away the remaing.
I took everything apart , and I kept the two motors and gears box which will be allocated to a future tug project.
That thing is made to throx balls but I shall use it to drop a towing rope.
Disconnected the electronic module and marked all the connections.
This stepper module is made to rise or lower the tank's gun. It will have the same job to trow the towing rope away.
Rudder mechanism.
This buzzer sounds like a diesel engine , starting or running .
All together: a 7.2V battery pack & a battery charger.

Two smoke generators smoking pretty well, coming along with an oil can : (1 hours capacity).
To end up, the leds will be used for some purposes.
We can buy this tank for 80/90£ on the web and the power as well as all the items are all good for what we want to use it for.

AhA!!!! Interesting....!
( "Can I get an upgrade?" ..... sorry, series of adverts non TV over here at the moment! )
I went through this exercise last year Gazou but didn't go complete it because what I wanted from the project was not going to be cost effective in the end....
