This is a Airfix 1/400 scale 'Das Boot' U-96 model, AB light grey upper hull, black lower hull and dark grey conning tower and deck gun. Once dry it had a light rust wash then it was sealed in matt varnish. Once all dry the hull was sanded back to sit better on the board. The board was sprayed in light grey and ocean blue specks to create a cold looking Atlantic ocean, the silicone was added and then built up around the sub. Last was some white paint for wash and wave tips.

Thanks Ned, this was a fiddly beggar for me to do with my dodgy hands but it came out really well.
