Not long to go now, hopefully we might get good weather and I must add that the planed tow of members of the lifeboat crew should be something special this year, I am not going in to detail you will have to turn up to see but I will add you will not be disappointed.  :-)) :-)) :-))

Regards Dave.

Just a quick note, It will be best to arrive as early as possible due to the car park filling up, especially if it is a nice day.....

There are other carparks nearby, and also parking along the roadside, you could always drop your boat off and then go and park. Morrisons is only 5 minutes walk away.....

Most Supermarkets allow 2 hours.
Can you park all day in Morrys?

I think so, it is part of the general promenade parking arrangements, there is a big one next to the Morrisons car park any way.....

Morrisons have a policy of ---no shop here --no park here ,and that's fact ,down at the perch rock is safest .

The car park is not exclusively Morrisons, there is also the casino, Home and Bargain and a couple of empty units, not to mention the cinema and food outlets at the other end of the building........

The parking bays a little further up the prom are restricted parking , 2 hours I believe , & the 'YELLOW PERILS' strut their stuff along there :police: , if the club can borrow the machine-gun off the cadets again there may be a barrier on the carpark entrance , anyone with golf clubs or fishing tackle will be despatched immediately  <*< . . . .boats will be OK  O0

Hi all, I can now say that we are just about ready for next week's fund raising event. Up to now we have 68 prizes some will be raffle prizes and the rest in the tombola. Also on the day we will have a number of items up for sale plus a cake stall with all proceeds going to the R.N.L.I.
Aso on the day there will be a life size dalek, and I can say having seen it the public will love it, so all we need now is the weather and to see as many boats as possible in and around the lake. :-)) :-)) :-))

Best Regards Dave.

Listening it sounded more like a kite cam.
Close ups would be a bonus.

Hi all, I can confirm that the amount raised in aid or the R.N.L.I. was £1304, I would like to pass on our thank and gratitude to all that donated. Now also as a model boat society when the time comes and we hold an event this size.we strongly depend on not only individuals but also on company's who so very kindly donated prizes so I will pass on our special thank to, Marks model bits, Cornwall models,Always hobbies, Martin Carr, Morrison's, The casino New Brighton, Wilkies fun fair,Liverpool football club, Play mobile, Tomi Toy's, and Hews gray without the help and support from companies like this it would have been difficult to hold a raffle.
So once again a big thank you to all. :-)) :-)) :-)) If I have missed any body then I apologize.

Best Regards Dave. ( chairman Wallasey model boat society)

Hi Dave

Sorry I missed the event this year as I was over in Canada with Irishcarguy :-))

That odd £4 worries my obsessive compulsive nature so a £16 cheque is ready to go if you pm me some details.

Regards Dave
