Fabulous details, the backfilling on the hatch really brought it to life ~

The railing atop the cab came out Very well !

Hi Phil,
Having just followed your build post from page 1 to this one I am lost for words to describe the first class quality of your work. The detail and skill involved is superb, I started boat building last February and due to very limited space (small wooden shed no mains power) I have to make everything by hand so when you see the detail and finish on your tug its just amazing! Well done keep it up.

Todays checklist was.........Ladder and rack, Anchor, obscure red handles, recessed fuel cap thingies, front firebox and windscreen wipers, the anchor winch was also on that list but the one I made just didnt look right so I will do it over tomorrow, after that its time to connect a battery, trim servos, program esc's and build a battery tray and hopefully thats it :)

Worse than that tim, I shut the workshop that night ready to finish it the next day but woke up with an awful saw throat that turned into hot sweats and uncontrollable shivering followed by headache and fatigue, doc thinks it's a strep throat infection but waiting to hear back.

In the latest images of your Wattle we see the STDB side running box light

In another thread yesterday on MBM we were discussing navigation lights and when we GOOGLE this we see that each of the running lights must be visible in a 112.5 degree arc
ie., from full FWD along the axis of the vessel thru 90 degrees and finally to 112.5 degrees on each respective side

Would the placement shown here provide the full vision FWD?...or would this be obstructed by the framework structure of the lifeboat canister?

A second point raised by JerryC was the box's surfaces are to be flat matt black

Just observations as I am not the rivet counter

We seem to have lost a few post's in the crash, rather than re-hash I will just put up some pictures of the finished model, she was officially handed over at 8:00 this morning.
