To top it all...I WON A RAFFLE PRIZE!  O0

Thanks Stan and team for making it all such a great day, not just for us other club members but for all other club visitors and the public.

No probs Ian, I did look out for you, waiting for you to pounce  :D

You missed a couple of new dio's...my beached Gato class-re-did this one and a 4'' X 4'' landing craft being buzzed by a zero. Will post up some piccies later.

Also had a chap that does articles for Model Boat Magazine taking my name and pictures of the models, so you never know.

Thanks to all who attended our naval day yesterday. We were blessed with good weather again making 3 events this year rain free. Many thanks to Mountfleet Models, Warner Marine and Scale Flags and Ensigns for the trade support they provided during the event. It was pleasing to see Mountfleet promoting their kits after that dreadful fire. Looking way into the future dates for next year our open day will be Sunday 13 July, naval day Sunday 14 September. Steam day /Mountfleet day will be April/May and the date for this to be confirmed later. I would like to thank all the model boat clubs and individuals that have helped make our three major events such a success this year, not forgetting the traders. If you still have events planned for this year I hope the weather is kind to you. Many thanks to Mayhem for allowing our events to be put in the club section. I hope to see friends at Blackpool in October and
if not all the best for the rest of this year.
