What kit is this
« on: April 08, 2013, 05:50:03 pm »

Hi guys,
My first post, and it`s all to do with a model boat which was rescued from a local recycling centre and given to me.
The 'patrol boat' appears to be a ready built glass-fibre model, and is 46 inches in length.
She is in pretty good condition considering she was being thrown away, and I am interested in rebuilding her.
What I would mainly like to know is,...what real world boat/ship does she represent, (if at all), are any plans available for her, and where can I obtain them?

regards, Donald

baloo,
Thank you for your welcome, and also (unbelievably) getting the identity right first time!
I googled 'MFA Tracker' and a clip on youtube showed that it is exactly the same model, even down to the portholes location in the superstructure and hull.
What was confusing at first though was that in the model I now possess, the for`ard superstructure is missing so it appeared to be different at first glance.
Would you happen to know if any plans for the MFA Tracker are available, or even whether it is a close enough design to change into a different model?
Thank you for your help.

regards, Donald

Thanks Martin.
As it happens, I have done a search on the MBM forum for MFA Tracker and have come up with some pix (and text) which I am filtering through at the present time, so once again, thanks for providing the lead.
