It is just the anchor chain and rigging cord that are missing. Although the cord isn't a problem the chain is needed but just a short length. I guess you will need yours though. I can go out and buy some but really we buyers should get better service. It is more of a niggle than a problem.

I sent two emails then followed up with a phone call, still no parts. I then sent a letter and this time I received the missing parts. I don,t think that is very good service.

A real shame that and can understand your disapointment, but have always managed to contact Dave 1st call by phone - hopefully just a gliche - I think he only despatches weekly though, but I'm not sure. Can only verse my experiences, none the less at least you got a response.
                           Regards, Tony.
P.S. how's the Graemsey build going?

The build is going fine but I do most of my work in the loft which is freeeeezing at the moment.
The portholes in the hull and the doors are very clear but the view through them is just the Innards of the vessel. Anyone got ideas as to how I make it look a bit more authentic?
Will post some more photos of the build soon.

You could just put some laminated images in there - plus a little light maybe. Just a thought

Like Colin Marshall, I have decided to build the cockpit from scratch as the pr-moulded structure is not very good.. The build is progressing slowly and I have just constructed the funnels.

For various reasons my build has slowed down recently. The hatch cover on the magnetic strips is a good fit but I found it difficult to remove. I have overcome this by fastening a man to it which looks better and allows me to lift it easily.

Hi langford, the boat is looking good, this is what I fitted to my deck, it is now known at the lake as the pig boat  :D  I has also been pointed out to me that I should not lower the ramp while out at sea, (health and safety) :}
When I built mine I was in touch with a lady that sailed on it once a week, she took some pics for me and I made a few alterations so that it was like the real one.
You will probably notice that the steps in the kit have too many rungs in them, also on the kit the doors to the saloon would not open because of the life belts, so I moved mine outboard a bit, they are also made of wood

I hadn't noticed the number of steps but I will now. Haven't started that part just yet.
Your model looks really good, I hope mine might be as good as yours.

The cockpit is progressing but I should have painted the inside as I went along. I have some undercoat on but it needs a lot more work yet. I will continue with the build when I have improved the painting.
