Modernising a Graupner Saturn

Currently in the process of modernising my Graupner Saturn from her steam tug configuration to that of a diesel tug, a conversion many Hamburg steam tugs went through in the 50's. One such tug was Zar IV which was the first vessel I worked on on the vessel that sparked my interest in all things tugs and towing. She started life in 1914 as a German steam tug being rebuilt to diesel in the 50's.
As she is to be rebuilt.

Looks interesting, i am building the same kit as we speak but as a steam boat. The only think is that deck and structures are covered with wood planks. Keep on posting your progress.
