...Hi Guys...
 
The 7th Annual Scottish Tug -In will be held at Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Clubs Pond on Sunday 9th of June 2013...10am till 4pm...
 
Model Tugs of all types, shapes & sizes will be on the water or on display on the tables...
 
Come along and celebrate the work of the Tugs and their Crews...

Im not gona make it this year, its always a great event and im not happy im missing it, well worth travelling to, have a good one folks. :-))

Confirmations are coming in from some of the major Tug Towing Clubs in Englandshire that they will be attending this event once again...It will be great to see you lads again...
 
So if you havent been to a Scottish Event before then this is the one for you...
 
The new Motorway Spur in Glasgow makes it a 2 minute drive from the M74 motorway to our club at Richmond Park...Come off at Junction 1A...

Things are coming together nicely for this event in 2 weeks time...
 
Here are a couple of pictures of the Tow Vessels being made ready...
 
The large ship is the bulker PETER SHEPHERD for the 2 & 3 man teams and the smaller ship is the coaster RICHMOND for the single tow...
There will be lots of different barges available on the day for anyone who wants to have a go at Model Tug-Towing...

The refurb on the 2 main tows is now complete and they are both "Shining Like A Shilling" in readiness for the event in 7 days time...
Dont forget, There will be a Bring & Buy Table available at this event so if you have an unwanted boat or boat related item then bring it along and sell it to someone else...

My lad took this pic of the refurbished Peter Shepherd today, she looks great :-))

She`s had 4 inches cut off her bottom, so should sit in the water a lot more realistically, can`t wait to see her in the water next week  ok2

Dont forget guys...Its the Model Tug-Towing Contest tomorrow at Glasgow Richmond Model Boat Club...(opposite Shawfield Stadium)
