Clyde puffer plans wanted
« on: May 31, 2013, 11:07:41 am »

Hi all,
I am thinking to buy Orion moldings 1/24 scale Clyde puffer hull but I need a good set of plans, there are some low resolution online but that's all, anyone know where to find a good set. I want first to study a little bit before I order it.

I built my Puffer with plans by Harold Underhill from Brown Son and Ferguson plan numbers 1119 and1120.  They are very highly detailed.

Not 20pence I think, 20 pounds seems a bit steep.   www.themackenzies.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/puffers/  shows  the variety of shapes and styles of the puffer through the period they operated . Re advice on "plans" you could email the author Alasdair MacKenzie on [email protected]
