Hi all
Can someone help me?
if a real boat was 75 foot long and the model is 4 foot 3 ins what sort of scale would that be. Many thanks

Change both measurements to inches and divide the smaller into the larger.

Hi Richard, 1/18th is nearest.
e.g:- 75 foot convert to inches = 900"
4 foot 3" convert to inches = 51"
divide 900 by 51 = 17.647"
round it up =18
answer 1/18th.
If that is wrong I will be quickly put right
