Build up your winch so that the reel works, then use a
worm gear on a pinion gear will give you lots of torque and slow speed.

The modelers in Denmark have a pretty good handle on it.

Cheers, but I'd love to see a diagram to make one, and where to buy the parts? This is my first build so not sure where to buy all the accessories yet

Hi, you will need a bit more powerful motor as well, it is surprising the drag the trawl gear has, good luck. Nemesis

Just watched the video, some good quality underwater camera work there  :-))
