Hi all new to the site
From Pennsylvania
Just dont know where to start


Below are some attachments  of photos of the boat I want to build. Has been done before by towboat joes but I hear that he passed. Would like to build this not as a R/C but fully detailed boat. Please help me get started

Your project looks interesting.

This is a Springer type  craft of which we have a special section devoted to it.  It might be possible to actually build her from the pictures that you have. The end and side views could be scaled up on a computer to give you some measurements and the rest could be scratch built.

Also it might be useful at the building stage to fit a prop shaft and rudder for when you feel ready to electrify her.

so ok where do I start? length 84 ft breadth 26 ft. built in 1966 twinscrew towboat built by hillman barge and construction company.is there anywhere to find a hull already built.do I use wood and plastic or just plastic?

21" x 6 1/2"  Looks like sheet and glue.
