Hi Mayhemers,

Thank you for all your kind messages.  :-)) :-))
What an enjoyable time we had. Plenty of tea and cakes were consumed. As you can imagine.
The lack of sleep has been worth it.  %%
Thank you to everyone at Grays Thurrock Model Boat Club and to everyone at Belhus Woods Country Park for the use of the lake and their facilities.
We had the Park Rangers with us for most of the night and early morning, so our thanks to them for all of their help and support.
The guys have already decided what they are doing next, so keep watching Mayhem and A Teams website.
kind regards
Debs

What are the A-Team`s aims on Loch Ness ?    Just to do the length of the loch or to establish a time or go for a distance ?  Will you bring your own chase boat ?   How about a coast to coast record, just doing it at your own time would be an epic journey and includes Loch Ness.   Fort William to Inverness via Caledonian Canal, check with British Waterways(dont know current name) office at Muirton Basin, Inverness for details of any events that could be a tie-in.  Another  coast to coast would be on the Union Canal and Forth and Clyde canal which includes the Falkirk Wheel.  Just some randome thoughts :D

Don't know what the challenge is, but always said I would help out where I can. Should be fun anyway.

If someone is looking for another model boat world record to break, this one looks possible to improve on given the improvements in lightweight RC these days
