None of my other interests have much to do with model boating. That stems from my dad's WWII Royal Navy experience. In the "real" world, I'm a professional musician and composer. Hobbies include Chess, Closeup magic, papercraft and SCUBA. I guess I'm a bit of a dilettante!

My other hobbies are to annoy the kids  , they embarrased me enough times, work means I have less time to do anything else other than run the kids around like a taxi.  , guess that makes me a grumpy old git.

My other interests are now non existent due to my disability. I used to be a drummer, playing a 9 piece Premier in sunburst gold, 50's and 60's stuff at pubs and clubs. Used to play golf and enjoyed that. I have also written 2 books, one a war story and one a murder mystery, both published but POD but was fun, the content is good but the grammar and punctuation let it down in places...although I did learn from it    I have also written various poetry pieces and some of those have been published in various anthologies.
 
At the moment models are keeping my hands going and my mind active, although they take a long time to build I enjoy them.
