Haberdashery shops sell it by the yard but try a local upholsterers for offcuts or leather furniture retailers have
old swatches of leather colour samples if you ask nicely.
Also you may find some small amounts in Dolls House accessory shops.

"Fablon" do a nice line in self-adhesive leatherette. It comes in "tan", but when I used it for the seats on my Admirals Barge I had to paint hem blue. Worked fine. Using Balsa as a base for the "cushions", the quilting effect was achieved by simply runing the edge of a steel ruler over the leatherette with enough pressure to indent the balsa. Small brass pins at the line crossings finished it all off nicely. Photos are on my build blog on this forum. BY.

Most model shops sell them in packs of about 100. I used the 1/4" long ones...if that's too long then the protruding bits are easily sliced off. Good luck. Bryan.

Yup.
I hate standing outside of store fitting rooms
holding a handbag.
If they have a seat outside I sit down and pretend
to be asleep.
