Brass tacks

 :P  Hi, folks I am trying to obtain some brass tacks/pins about 4-6mm long,anyone got any idea's where I can get some,looked on line but have come up blank,many thanks for any replies,Ray. :P :P :P

Search for panel pins or sprigs.  Modelling Timbers might be a source if they are back online.

sparkey.........these are 10mm long x 1mm diameter serrated bronze nails.........but I am sure that Graupner supply a smaller version.....Derek

  I Googled for pins and got this www.technologysupplies.co.uk but the link doesn't work for me. They sell 6mmx1mm brass pins 200 for £1.07 +vat.   Maybe out of business at these prices, :((   they`d be same price for 10 in a model shop >>:-(   EDIT: I just tried the link and search on that link, it does work.

You could try searching for "Escutchion" pins.  Which are nearly always made of brass and small.

I  stock escutcheon pins - 5/8", hefty section with round heads. Have their uses, but not as dainty as Sparkey is looking for. Mostly brassed rather than solid these days, too.
