I been asked by a few people about how I have got some of the various functions working so here a few pics that may help

What are the two blue pipes. Is that simulated exhaust/cooling?

Hi ,
The two blue tubes carry the smoke form the graupner 12v smoke element to the exhust outlets which is driven thought the tubing via a computer fan .

it's 52 inches long, if you mean the Arun lifeboat. :-))

I have seen this one and it is a great bit of modelling especially the launching of the y boat
