I am looking for the build plans for this model as to where to fit the electrics,would appreciate any help.

Hi James, I built this model some years ago and had some pictures on here of the installation. I think they have been lost in the big crash. From memory the plans do not show anything in the way of how to install the motor etc but leaves it to the individual. I will try to find the pictures I posted and post them again. Cheers, Graham.

Graham a very good lay out,can you remember what motor you used and also the esc and did you use a seperate ubec

Hi James, I can only read part of the label on the motor and it says 6V power 400/35 No 4467. I think I got it by visiting the Billings site and looking for their suggested model. I probably bought it from Cornwall model boats. As you can see I left the cross member under the decks in place but I have seen others where it is removed. I used this cross member to hang the motor from and provide a flexible mount as the shaft coupling is solid to save space. The esc is an mtronics marine 15amp and I use a separate battery pack for the radio std 4x1.5v cells. The motor battery is a 6 cell NiCad 7.2v. Regards, Graham
