Event Time: 1pm -4pm - Drop in
Location: Princess Royal Gallery, National Museum of the Royal Navy, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard.
Free Entrance no dockyard ticket needed.
Calling all model enthusiasts! Join the National Museum of the Royal Navy at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard on Saturday 12 October for a preview of the ship models that are to be featured in the new exhibition HMS - Hear My Story - due to open in 2014.
Models on show include the impressive 11ft HMS EAGLE, that took a local model enthusiast 15 years to make and the realistic illuminated diorama HMT GRENADIER (HM Trawler).
Entrance to the model event is free at the National Museum of the Royal Navy.

I get the local Portsmouth paper every day and I only saw the advert on the day of the event itself - to late to go. This event was to my mind so poorly advertised that if you did happen to see the models it was probably by chance than design!
