Lord Mayors Show

My wife is a guide leader, and she gets me involved if she can (I have MUG tattooed on my forehead). This year our local guides are representing Girl Guiding UK in the Lord Mayors Show in London, and guess what? I have been volunteered to help build this years float, thankfully not on my own, we have to dress a 40 foot Arctic trailer, should be fun, or bl**dy hard work. Still it's only modelling on a large scale.

Hello Alan,

Well the Mrs is helping with WS2007, translating all the posters into French... I think so far she has spent 5 eves on it and two Solid days, including the whole of today!!! Volunteering!

Hi John, I think you meant WS2008 or else we have got our dates wrong. I'm sure I will get roped into that a well, moving equipment, putting up tents, and being a general dogs body, still the girls always seem to appreciate the help, they have a great time there, so much to do. Alan
