Dave, Yes it is an odd thing to happen.
I'm interested that you too have had the same problem - so there could be a link between XP and the website not displaying fully? Or is that too simplistic?
I haven't gone as far as using another browser though.
I can't get into it too deeply!
Anything else?

So if I download Mozilla Firefox can I choose to use it when I want
rather than have it as the default browser?
Does it just sit on Desktop ready for use?

Mick, that throws my theory into the long grass!
What version IE are you using? - I have IE8 on Win XP
Apart from that I have no idea.
Stavros had the same problem but others near and far away
don't seem to have a problem.

I believe IE 8 is the latest version for XP. I'm on Vista and my version is 9 however, a friend had problems wit BT internet and IE getting a message to upgrade. Microsoft upgrade page said 8 was the latest for that version of Windows. I down loaded Chrome and she was back in business.

You can have as many browsers as you like and set one of them as the default - your choice.

Hi,

I was looking at the sorry state of the once lovely Penzance Model Boat pond at Wherrytown, what a sorry decline over the years, the water is almost black, has anyone used it all recently?

Happy Christamas to all.
